psalm 119 is crazy long, but has some sweet stuff in it.

119:116 sustain me according to your promise, and i will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

and a few times, throughout the chapter, it says, "i have put my hope in your word."

how will our hopes be dashed, if the very essence of our hope is placed in the word of God?
our faith may be shaken, and our faith may decrease. but our faith in Jesus should remain steadfast. his faith in us, after we have been so unfaithful, is so true, so unconditional. but when do we give the Lord what he really deserves?

if my faith begins to lessen, i'm usually pointing at Jesus when it's happening, when in all actuality, he was the very one to put the faith inside of me, and he will prevail. his love for me with conquer... everything.

i have put my hope in your word. sustain me according to your promise.
