thanks?

is it just me, or has the thanksgiving holiday become nothing more than a history-conceived idea of how the pilgrims and indians made nice and planted some corn seeds? could be just me. could be you haven't given a thought to it.

ok, maybe not just the corn seed bit. maybe it is also a great way to pull out the turkey stencils and autumn colored cotton balls, for great crafts to pin on the fridgedaire.

thanksgiving :: an act of giving thanks; an expression of gratitude, especially to God.

do you think that maybe we sometimes get so wrapped up in trying to remember to be thankful for our materialistic possessions, that we end up forgetting who to thank? i do.
john fitzgerald kennedy said, "as we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."

joy says, "nicely said fitz."
