- never say yes to trying to sell something that you don't even like
- never let it involve christian book store owners... they're typically very rude
- if you don't like jeremy camp, amy grant, sandi patty, etc - say no to letting christian bookstores put you on hold
- beware if you have a low tolerance for clever names such as, "garden of readin' bookstore".
it's times like these i really have to learn love trumps all. if you know me, you know that i take great joy in letting my mouth get me into trouble. you could call me a fool, and you'd be right. it's something i'm working on - and this exercise that i talked about is probably helping me a good deal.
it kills my flesh to let someone be a jerk and not say something about it to them. and it's making me think twice when this thought crosses my mind, "wow. they own a christian bookstore and they're a jerk. gees."
'do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves .... your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: who, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant...' philippians 2:3...6
oh humility.
