after a long break period that had to be taken due to excess listening, i've scrolled down to good ole' sean feucht and began to listen to him again.

in one of his songs, he describes intimacy as being complete vulnerability.

and it made me long for such an intimate relationship with Jesus. well, not just those lyrics, but the thought of being completely vulnerable with someone i can place all of my hope and trust in.

don't you love that safe feeling? that untouchable, indescribable warm sensation that overcomes you when you are in the presence of someone you can trust, and trust yourself when you are around? as risky as i like to be sometimes, i still love that safety, still long for it.

and the only way to gain intimacy with someone is by spending time with them.
