one of the things i love about the promises of the Lord? i can put all my hope in them.

isaiah 54:10 "...though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

i love how He always uses the word "unfailing" when He talks about his love. we may feel like we know what it means like to have unfailing love for someone... and i'll even go as far as to say that some may have an unfailing love for another... but no one has an unfailing love for an entire people. and that is what makes the love of Christ so remarkable.

i wish i had so much more in common with my creator. i wish i could be remembered for how i love people. but unfortunately, at this point in my life, i really don't think that is what i'm remembered for. however, on my journey of figuring out what His love is in my life... i shall learn how to love like Him.
